All our products are 100% vegan.
Our products are mainly organic, but not fully organic. We are proud to work with some amazing Swiss organic companies for maximized quality and taste, and we choose organic ingredients where possible.
We have a few select items without gluten: our brownie and at least 2-3 of our patisseries. Further, we are always happy to create gluten-free cakes upon request for your special occasion. However we cannot guarantee a 100% gluten-free production as we work with flour in our kitchen. If you have a severe allergy, we do not recommend you to consume our products. As our cinnamon rolls are made to be as fluffy as possible, we unfortunately do not offer these gluten-free.
As our products are 100% plant-based, there is no lactose in any of our products.
Fair trade is usually a term used when working with producers in developing countries in which fair prices are paid to the producers. In our case, we mainly work with Swiss manufacturers to ensure high quality and ethically produced raw materials. However, when working with ingredients that are not naturally Swiss, we search for companies that engage in sustainable partnerships that go beyond Fairtrade, eliminating the risk of price speculation or middle trade. Most of our chocolate comes from Kürzi Kakao, a Swiss bean to bar manufacturer carefully selecting their ingredients according to the highest quality and ethical standards, and our Ceylon cinnamon and cardamom is from Sonnentor that works directly with local organic farmers to ensure a transparent model.
Store your rolls at room temperature in an airtight container. You can store your rolls up to 3 days, but we always recommend that you eat the rolls on the same day for maximised taste and freshness. As our rolls are made with a yeast dough, the rolls become slightly dryer on the following days. Our rolls freeze very well! So if you know that you can’t eat all the rolls, you can freeze your rolls for up to 4 months. We recommend that you freeze the rolls when they are still fresh. They come out very well when thawed and reheated! (See how to refresh them below)
If stored at room temperature: Sprinkle a bit of water on the rolls and bake them for 5 minutes in a preheated oven at 160 degrees. They come out fluffy as ever!If frozen: Place the rolls at room temperature to thaw. When fully thawed, the rolls can be enjoyed straight away, OR you can reheat the rolls slightly to freshen them up. Sprinkle a bit of water on the rolls and bake them for 5 minutes in a preheated oven at 160 degrees.
